Detailed Description of 2 Days Shai Hills Birding Trip.





Day 1……. Pick-up at location given – Birding in Shai Hills Reserve and Tafi Atome.


You will be Picked-Up by your expert Birding Guide at the location given, you will visit Shai Hills Protected Area, to bird the excellent Birdwatching Destinations in Ghana.

You will bird Shai Hills Reserve, the closest wildlife protected area to Accra, with a Savannah Grassland habitat, large rock formations and caves.

The rock formations providing good numbers of White Crowned Cliff Chat and Rock Martins in addition to Guinea and Violet Turacos are available, Blue Bellied, Broad Billed and Rufous Crowned Rollers are present, Senegal Parrot, Red Headed Lovebird, Black Cap and Brown Babblers will show up, Stone Partridge, Snowy Crowned Robin Chat, and many more will make your day.

Large numbers of Olive Baboons will greet you on your arrival to the park, as Kob, Monkeys and others will entertain you.



Overnight at a Standard Hotel in Atimpoku.




Day 2…… You will further have Adventure experience with Monkeys at Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary to have an encounter with Lewis Mona Monkey, where the friendly Monkeys will climb on your head and arms to have memorable holiday for the day.
