Day 1 & 2……. Birding in Mole National Park.


You will be Picked-Up by your expert Birding Guide at the location given, you will visit Mole Protected Area, to bird the leading Birdwatching Destinations in Ghana.

Mole is Ghana’s premier wildlife viewing protected area covering 4847 square kilometers and protecting over 90 mammal and 330 Bird species.

Mole’s habitat consists of Broad Leaved Guinea Woodland and Savannah Plains, excellent Birdwatching can be enjoyed around the hotel with species such as Red throated Bee-eater, Grey Woodpecker, Beautiful and Pygmy Sunbirds, Orange cheeked, Lavender and Black Rumped Waxbills.

Walking Safari’s offer the chance of seeing quality species like Pel’s Fishing Owl, Sandard Winged Nightjah, Spotted Creeper, White Fronted Black Chat, Forbes Plover, Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, and Greater painted Snipe.
